Do you prefer working with a building team and adding our expertise to your architect’s? Or are we getting into a conventional procurement process? We adjust flexibly to the chosen procedure. Regardless of the type of cooperation, we consider each project as tailormade. Hence, there’s never a standard approach at edibo.
2. Our in-house engineers despise surprises (as do you)
One of the most uncertain factors in the construction budget are the earthworks and foundation works:
- Is there pollution in the lot?
- If so, what is the impact on cost?
- How much soil will need to be drained or supplied?
- Does the subsoil have the required bearing capacity?
- Do we need to lime the subsoil?
- What type of foundation is needed based on the condition of the subsoil?
- Do we need deep foundations? If so, what type of foundation for this particular project?
- What is the impact of these decisions on span structures?
