About edibo

For 40 years, edibo has been known for industrial buildings and offices that radiate quality, know-how and future orientation. Flexible buildings made of concrete and steel that support your business processes rather than slowing them down. We challenge ourselves to continue to recognise the interpretation of an industrial building. To translate even the most complex business processes and building designs into an optimal financial and constructional implementation. And to get involved or make adjustments at any time, regardless of the assignment.

We rely on a well-balanced team for this, including salesmen/calculators, an internal consultancy and steel workshop, and an experienced field service on the construction sites. Ready to get involved or make adjustments at any time. Together with our head office in Lommel and our branches in Antwerp-Ghent and Eindhoven, we always guarantee a personal and complete service. Our sites extend throughout Belgium and the Netherlands.

This is team edibo

The success of a project starts with strong interaction between the different departments. An overview of all our teams within edibo, on and off the construction site.

Sales & Calculations

Budget is the common thread running through every industrial construction project. As a customer, you need an estimate of your construction budget that is as realistic and accurate as possible. Our salesmen/calculators are your financial fingers on the pulse, from the first quotation to the very last cost item. Furthermore, they also act as your advisory sounding board: honest, open, straightforward.

Safety, Quality and the Environment

The Safety, Quality and the Environment team is responsible for ensuring a safe, high-quality and environmentally conscious approach to every construction project. Safety, Quality and the Environment form the common thread through all our projects, and we focus internally on things like continuous training via toolbox meetings and workplace inspections.

Design

Our stability engineers and work planners turn your construction plan into a detailed BIM model in 3D. They carry out the necessary stability calculations and use their expertise to optimise your building in every possible way. After all, a building must serve the day-to-day processes. Do you have engineers in your team already? Then ours would be happy to work with you. The work planners will then prepare an effective site work.

Implementation

Our field staff steer the effective construction process in the right direction. Our surveyors, project and site managers and assistant project managers guarantee smooth organisation, coordination and quality throughout the entire period on site. And they do this according to the agreed budget and timing, paying specific attention to safety, order and tidiness. They will remain available to you, even after delivery.

Atelier

We erect our buildings in skeletons of steel, concrete or laminated wood. We create the steel structure in our own steel workshop. Our metal workers convert the 3D designs developed by the work planners into tangible steel structures, however complex and challenging. And of course, they do not sacrifice quality.

Warehouse and logistics

We always work according to a tight schedule. Our warehouse workers and drivers ensure the right materials arrive on site on time and correctly.

Construction workers

Our construction workers are also anything but averse to a challenge. They can carry out the most complex and detailed projects at a fast pace. Strict safety standards and a high-quality end result are at the top of their list of priorities. This is all thanks to a strong team spirit and well-oiled cooperation with the project and site managers.

Rock-solid framework

Our purchasing department, HR, administration, marketing, finance, ICT, etc. run our projects from behind the scenes. Their enormous added value is undisputed. If your construction project runs smoothly, they are just as responsible for this as our other teams, both in terms of mutual agreements and implementation.

Management

edibo is known for its high-quality and challenging construction projects at a very high level. This has been the case since the late Theo Custers founded the company, and is more true today than ever. Today, the three shareholders are in charge of day-to-day business, each with their own area of expertise and responsibilities:

  • Danny Ulenaers: implementation, internal customer relations and general organisation
  • Jo Boonen: sales, marketing, external customer relations and networking
  • Dirk Paerewyck: responsible for edibosud

Working together, they ensure the further growth of edibo by monitoring the daily quality as well as the shared vision and corporate culture among all employees.
